Bloody. Bloody. Footprints.

Have you ever seen those cute little reindeer tracks that they put throughout some cute stores or how about the cute paw prints 🐾 that they put throughout different little pet stores? Well, boy have I seen them! I swear I see these type of feet everywhere except st Halloween time. I have been wanting something eerie but good quality, something spooky but not lame, something haunting but not morbid, and something just plan out awesome.

I went to Walmart to look around but I literally saw nothing that would please my taste for Halloween. While they had a million amazing wigs, they didn’t really have any footprints or blood that was stain proof to use on my floor. I know a lot of people that used corn starch and corn syrup mixed with red food coloring, but that’s not that safe for my cats nor it is safe for my furniture.

So Walmart... you had cute stuff, but not what I was looking for. I ventured out to th great “out of town” aka “the big city” which is only an hour and a half away to Cape Girardeau to look around at a place called Celebrate Seasons which basically changes their name all the time according to what season or decor they have at that particular moment. I got a feeling of the place and browsed around of course they had cute items, but let’s face it at places like that those items are always way out of price range. When the quote becomes, “When I become famous...” that’s when you basically feel like giving up hope. But I love Halloween so it never hurts to browse. I just become a little bummed. Bursting into Target with a more optimist outlook usually puts me in a better mood. Trust me. Target has a little bit of everything that animates to table mats to paper plates to table top pieces and skeletons that could sit at your dining table.

But. They. Did. Not. Have. Bloody. Footprints. To be honest, I was extremely surprised since I had seen them before even though they were only window clings. So after browsing for hours and a trip home... I got on Amazon. Good. Old. Reliable. And I found these puppies. I found multiple kinds everywhere, but these looked the most promising. Granted when they shipped to me it took virtually no time and in a huge box for flimsy paper stickers. The only thing that I was nervous about was their availability to stick and if they were see through or white. They stick perfectly for me because they were just like huge stickers (that came up easily as well off my floor). They were see through! I have seen so many where they weren’t see through and no one could use these items at all. Which is totally not cool. These though were so worth it and not crazy on price at all. I had so many left over that I have enough for next year as well.
